Job summary

LHH is seeking a Senior Accounts Payable Specialist to join a growing team in Nashville. This role manages the full-cycle AP, ensuring accurate processing from invoice to payment with a focus on data accuracy and timely vendor communications.

You will reconcile bank and corporate credit card activity, maintain vendor records in Sage Intacct, and participate in month-end close. The ideal candidate has 4+ years of experience and excels with Excel and detail-oriented analysis.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of full-cycle Accounts Payable experience.
• Experience with bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Ability to manage high-volume transactions and large data sets.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to analyze financial information.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Owning the payables process from start to finish.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full-cycle accounts payable process including invoice processing, approvals, payment preparation, and vendor maintenance (Sage Intacct).
• Perform bank and corporate credit card reconciliations.
• Review and reconcile AP accounts, research discrepancies, and resolve payment issues.
• Sort, organize, and analyze large data sets with strong attention to detail.
• Maintain accurate vendor records and supporting documentation.
• Partner with internal departments and vendors to resolve invoice and payment questions.
• Take ownership of AP deadlines, processes, and follow-up.
• Assist with month-end close and AP-related reporting as needed.

LHH is looking for an experienced Senior Accounts Payable Specialist to join a growing team in the Nashville area. This is an ideal opportunity for an AP professional who enjoys taking ownership of the payables process, working with high-volume data, and ensuring accuracy from invoice through reconciliation and payment.

What You’ll Do

• Manage the full-cycle accounts payable process, including invoice processing, approvals, payment preparation, and vendor maintenance (Sage Intacct)
