Job summary

Oliver James Associates Ltd. is seeking an experienced accounting advisory professional with a public accounting background to expand expertise in Deals/FDD/TAS within a client-focused firm.

Ideal candidates will have CPA (or in progress), 4+ years in Audit/Assurance/Advisory, and strong GAAP/IFRS knowledge, with the ability to communicate with C-Suite teams. Role suits an individual contributor or collaborative team player.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance, Masters degree preferred.
• CPA certification preferred - will accept those in process.
• 4+ years of experience within Audit, Assurance, Advisory or Deals/FDD, within a Public Accounting firm (Big 4/Top 10 preferred)
• Experience with large, Public filers (Audit/Assurance) & High Value Transactions (Deals/FDD)
• High degree of professionalism required- including the ability to communicate with C-Suite level individuals.
• Self starter, who can thrive as an Individual Contributor, or in a team-based environment
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, FASB & SEC/ASC rules and standards.
• Demonstrated ability to quickly adapt to changing technological environments (AI, RPA etc.)
