Job summary

Oliver James Group in Tysons, VA is seeking an Accounting & Transaction Advisory Manager to lead complex assurance and deals projects. You will work with C-Suite stakeholders on high-value transactions, applying GAAP, IFRS and SEC/ASC standards, and guide teams through multi-disciplinary engagements.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance; Masters preferred.
• CPA certification preferred – in progress acceptable.
• 4+ years in Audit, Assurance, Advisory or Deals/FDD in Public Accounting (Big 4/Top 10 preferred).
• Experience with large public filers (Audit/Assurance) & High Value Transactions (Deals/FDD).
• Strong communication with C-Suite level individuals; self-starter in IC or team settings.
• Solid knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, FASB & SEC/ASC rules and standards.
• Ability to adapt to changing tech environments (AI, RPA etc.).
