Job summary

Career Team is seeking an Accounting Supervisor in the Greater Dallas area to oversee invoicing, analysis, and financial reporting for multiple projects. You will lead the accounting team, ensure GAAP compliance, and drive process improvements in a fast-paced environment.

The role reports to the Director of Finance with an onsite requirement in Dallas, requiring 7+ years of accounting experience and a strong supervisory background. Equitable, confidential handling of financial data is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• 7+ years of accounting experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
• Advanced knowledge of GAAP and ability to reconcile complex balance sheets and P&L reports.
• Experience with budgeting and forecasts across multiple funding streams (WIOA/government contracting) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, mentor, and train accounting staff; manage workload and deadlines.
• Review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements for accuracy and GAAP compliance.
• Lead month-end closing activities and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Manage annual audit deliverables and liaison with boards/contractors.
