Job summary

Career Team in the Greater Dallas area is seeking an Accounting Supervisor to lead invoicing, analysis, and financial reporting across multiple projects. You will supervise accounting staff, ensure GAAP compliance, and drive internal controls in a fast-paced, high-trust environment.

This onsite role reports to the Director of Finance and requires a Bachelor’s degree, 7+ years of accounting with 2+ in supervision, and strong Excel with QuickBooks/Adaptive Workday/Expensify experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 7+ years of accounting experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and ability to reconcile complex balance sheets and P&L reports.
• Experience with budgeting/forecasts across multiple funding streams (WIOA/government contracting preferred).
• Advanced MS Excel and accounting software proficiency (QuickBooks, Adaptive Workday, Expensify).

Responsibilities

• Oversee invoicing, analytics and reporting for multiple projects.
• Lead month-end close and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and strong internal controls.
• Coordinate with senior leadership, executives and contract teams.
• Manage payroll analytics, vendor invoices and project expenditures.
• Maintain confidentiality and high accuracy in financial data.
