Job summary

BDO USA, LLP is seeking an Accounting Experienced Manager, Special Projects in Metairie, LA. You will lead accounting projects across subsidiaries, including entity integrations, consolidations, and ERP/process changes, partnering with corporate accounting, FP&A, tax, treasury, and internal audit to deliver accurate statutory and GAAP/IFRS-compliant reporting.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
Eight or more years of accounting and finance experience.
Five or more years of management experience.
CPA (preferred).
Experience with multi-entity companies and cross-functional leadership.

Responsibilities

Manages special projects across subsidiary accounting including entity integrations and close/reporting improvements.
Oversees intercompany reconciliations and equity roll forwards.
Prepares/reviews complex journal entries and account reconciliations.
Coordinates monthly/quarterly close support and policy alignment.
Assists external reporting team with financial reports.
Leads a team to ensure timely and accurate tasks.
Supports FP&A budgeting and forecasting.
Interfaces with Financial Systems Support for reporting development.
