An established industry player is seeking a Senior Accounting & Policy Research Analyst to provide expert guidance on accounting policies and practices. This role involves preparing technical presentations, conducting training sessions, and serving as a liaison with external auditors. Role: Sr. Accounting Policy Research Analyst
Duration: 12 months - possible extensions

Daily Responsibilities:
Serves as the expert on all major accounting issues impacting and establishing the company’s accounting policies. Functions as the consulting accountant, providing technical accounting advice and guidance to all departments. Prepares technical accounting presentations, conducts training sessions on accounting topics, and writes accounting whitepapers. Oversees the publication of accounting whitepapers and policy papers in an accessible format for all departments to aid in making proper accounting decisions. Plays a key role in adopting and implementing new accounting standards affecting the company by coordinating with all relevant departments to gather and compile the necessary accounting information for recording and disclosing transactions. Serves as a liaison with external auditors on accounting policy and disclosure.
Compensation:
$45/hr to $80/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
