Naviga Recruiting & Executive Search is seeking a hands-on accounting professional to own day-to-day financial operations for a growing HVAC service business. You will oversee A/P, payroll, and financial reporting, partnering with leadership to improve processes.

Based in the Tampa Bay area with a remote start and transition to hybrid work, the role emphasizes accuracy, accountability, and cross-functional collaboration to drive business performance.

Formación

• Minimum 5 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience.
• Strong accounts payable, reconciliations, GL maintenance, and month-end close.
• Comfortable owning tasks end-to-end in a hands-on environment.
• Experience with ServiceTitan or Sage Intacct is helpful.

Responsabilidades

• Own day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting activities (A/P, vendor payments, expense coding, reconciliations).
• Maintain financial records and manage data flow between ServiceTitan and Sage Intacct, investigating discrepancies as needed.
• Support monthly close, year-end bookkeeping, and financial reporting for leadership.
• Coordinate payroll processing and verify the accuracy of employee pay records.
• Assist with onboarding/offboarding, background checks, and personnel records.
• Coordinate company vehicle maintenance, registrations, and insurance documentation.
• Partner with leadership to identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve reporting.
• Provide practical administrative support in a lean, collaborative environment.
