The Employment Development Department is seeking committed, independent, and organized individuals that possess a strong Unemployment Insurance (UI) background to be part of a management team committed to supporting the Department mission, vision and strategic goals.

Under direction, the Senior Accounting Officer (Supervisor) is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the work of subordinate professional technical staff in the Claims Processing and Benefit Payment Control activities that include fraud prevention and detection, establishment of overpayments, employer and claimant assistance and maintenance of employer and claimant accounts to ensure the integrity of the Unemployment Insurance (UI) Trust Fund.

The Senior Accounting Officer (Supervisor) provides leadership and upward mobility to staff and resolves confidential and sensitive staff issues with a positive attitude.

Work will be conducted at EDD office located in Rancho Cordova. Free Parking.
