Job summary

CLA, a top 10 national professional services firm, is seeking a Senior – Accounting Methods to join the Federal Tax Strategies team. The role focuses on accounting methods changes, tax treatment, and process execution for client engagements.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance, 2 years of relevant experience, and familiarity with accounting methods; CPA candidacy is preferred. The position offers growth, flexibility, and a collaborative culture across the Firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2 years of relevant experience required.
• CPA exam preferred.
• Experience in business services, public accounting or consulting preferred.
• Experience in accounting methods preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Consult on accounting methods-related issues including various method changes and recognition.
• Conduct research related to accounting methods tax issues.
• Participate in accounting methods projects with client data and filings.
• Collaborate with managers, directors and principals across the Firm.
• Coach or mentor staff and contribute to multiple projects simultaneously.
