CLA is a top 10 national professional services firm seeking a Senior – Accounting Methods to join our Federal Tax Strategies team in Washington. The role focuses on tax strategies involving timing and character of income, expenses, capitalization, and cost recovery, with opportunities for growth, flexibility, and collaboration.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance, 2 years of relevant experience, CPA exam eligibility preferred, and strong Excel skills.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• 2 years of relevant experience required.
• Eligible to sit for CPA exam preferred.
• Experience in business services, public accounting or consulting preferred.
• Experience in accounting methods preferred.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and Access preferred.

Aufgaben

• Consult on accounting methods-related changes including revenue/expense recognition and inventory.
• Conduct research on accounting methods tax issues to expand knowledge base.
• Participate in accounting methods projects with client interviews, data review, calculations, and filings.
• Collaborate with managers, directors and principals across the Firm.
• Coach or mentor staff to develop their skills and careers.
• Contribute to multiple projects simultaneously in a reliable manner.
