Job summary

CLA is seeking a Senior – Accounting Methods to join our Federal Tax Strategies team. The role focuses on accounting methods, tax strategy optimization, and client collaboration to deliver precise filings and strategic guidance.

The role requires strong interpersonal skills, problem solving, and integrity with results orientation. CPA eligibility is preferred, and experience in accounting methods is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2 years of relevant experience required.
• Eligible to sit for CPA exam preferred.
• Experience in accounting methods preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Access).

Responsibilities

• Consult on accounting methods-related issues including methods changes and revenue/expense recognition.
• Conduct research related to accounting methods to expand knowledge base.
• Participate in projects with client interviews, data review, calculations, and filings.
• Collaborate with managers, directors, and principals across the Firm.
• Coach or mentor staff to develop skills and careers.
• Contribute to multiple projects simultaneously in a reliable manner.
