Job summary

Exus Renewables North America is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead day-to-day accounting for IPP and asset management projects in the United States. You will review transactions, reconcile accounts, and produce monthly and quarterly financial reports for senior management and audits.

The role requires 7+ years of accounting experience, including Big 4 audit exposure, people management, and strong US GAAP or leasing standards knowledge.

Qualifications

• BS degree in accounting; MBA preferred.
• 7+ years accounting experience; 3+ years in the audit function of a Big 4 or large regional CPA firm highly preferred.
• Past experience as a people manager required.
• Past demonstrated experience building complex financial reporting packages required.
• Technical knowledge of US GAAP or current leasing standards required.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day accounting activities for IPP and 3rd party Asset Management projects.
• Review and conduct financial transactions, account statements, reconciliations of accounts receivable; resolve bank discrepancies.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports, including audited financial statements.
• Oversee AR, AP and general accounting with dedicated teams for client projects.
• Ensure compliance filings are submitted on time, assist budgets and cash flow forecasts.
