Job summary

Exus Renewables North America is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee day-to-day accounting for IPP and third-party Asset Management projects. You will manage financial transactions, reconciliations, and AR/AP activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in reporting.

You’ll prepare monthly and quarterly financials, including audited statements, and lead budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and year-end close. Prior experience managing teams in a fast-growth renewable energy setting is valued.

Qualifications

• BS in accounting required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 7+ years accounting experience; 3+ years in audit (Big 4 or large regional CPA firm) highly preferred.
• People management experience required; strong financial reporting skills expected.
• Expert knowledge of accounting principles, US GAAP and IFRS as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day accounting activities for IPP and 3rd party Asset Management projects.
• Review and conduct financial transactions, reconcile accounts receivable, and resolve bank discrepancies.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports, including audited financial statements.
• Oversee accounts payable and general accounting with dedicated client project teams.
• Ensure compliance with legal guidelines and accounting standards across US GAAP and IFRS.
• Provide analyses for budgets, cash flow forecasts, and year-end reporting packages.
• Support audits, client reporting, and internal control policy development.
• Interact with senior management to discuss financial performance and improve processes.
