Job summary

Exus Renewables North America in Pittsburgh, PA seeks an Accounting Manager to lead day-to-day accounting for IPP and asset management projects. You will review transactions, reconcile accounts, and prepare reports for senior management while improving financial processes.

Ideal candidates have a BS in accounting, 7+ years in accounting with Big 4/audit experience, and strong knowledge of US GAAP/IFRS, with prior people management and complex reporting experience.

Qualifications

• BS degree in accounting; MBA preferred.
• Expert knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, and best practices.
• 7+ years of accounting experience; Big 4/audit experience preferred.
• People management experience required.
• Experience building complex financial reporting packages.

Responsibilities

• Ensure technical compliance for US GAAP and IFRS, including derivatives, business combinations, and purchase accounting.
• Prepare and issue monthly and quarterly financial reports, including audited statements.
• Oversee AR, AP, and general accounting with client project teams.
• Ensure accounting practices follow legal guidelines and accounting principles.
• Provide monthly/quarterly/year-end analyses and reporting packages for clients and audits.
• Submit compliance filings on time.
• Assist in budgets and cash flow forecasts.
• Manage day-to-day contacts with multiple complex clients.
• Create internal controls and policies; provide GAAP reporting.
