Job summary

Northwood Space is seeking a Senior Accounting Manager to lead and scale our accounting operations and financial infrastructure. You will oversee month-end close, cost accounting, financial reporting, and internal controls to support rapid growth and compliance with US GAAP.

You will partner with production, supply chain and engineering to drive cost reduction initiatives, implement robust financial software tools, and help transition accounting workflows in-house while maintaining rigorous

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related business discipline.
• 5+ years of progressive corporate accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and ASC 606.
• Experience with ERP systems and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day general ledger activities and month-end close.
• Design and maintain internal controls and accounting policies.
• Manage accounting system data integrity and ERP configuration.
• Coordinate external audits and tax compliance documentation.
• Collaborate with production, supply chain and engineering on cost accounting.
• Support cost reduction initiatives and financial forecasting.
• Assist fundraising and executive reporting.
