Job summary

Northwood Space is seeking a Senior Accounting Manager to build and scale its accounting operations and financial infrastructure from our Los Angeles base. You will lead month-end close, cost accounting, and internal controls across domestic and international operations with cross-functional partners in production, supply chain and engineering.

We look for hands-on, detail-oriented leaders with deep US GAAP experience, ERP proficiency (NetSuite preferred), and a track record of driving process

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive corporate accounting experience.
• Strong US GAAP knowledge and internal controls.
• Experience with ERP systems, ideally NetSuite.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day general ledger activities under US GAAP.
• Design and maintain financial controls and policies.
• Manage accounting system configuration and data integrity.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and tax compliance.
• Lead cost accounting with cross-functional teams to reduce unit costs.
• Support cash management, fundraising, forecasting, and executive reporting.
• Improve month-end close timelines and automate workflows.
