Antelope is seeking a hands-on Accounting Senior Manager to lead GL and AP across our omnichannel pet consumer platform. You will oversee month-end, inventory, payroll, and internal controls while partnering with audit and tax teams.

This remote US role demands strong GAAP knowledge, 8+ years of experience, and NetSuite proficiency. You’ll drive process improvements, implement AI-assisted close tasks, and manage a growing team to deliver timely, audit-ready financials for a $100–200M

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA highly desirable; public accounting or audit experience a plus.
• Minimum of 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 3+ years leading GL and AP teams.
• Proven experience closing monthly books within 10 days for an inventory-heavy, omnichannel CPG business.
• Experience in a $100-200M organization.
• Strong technical GAAP knowledge with experience researching, applying, and documenting accounting guidance for audit.
• Experience supporting a full year-end financial statement audit.
• Acquisition accounting or cash-to-GAAP conversion experience a big plus.
• Track record of implementing internal controls, policies, and procedures and improving transaction processing to scale with a growing company.
• Knowledge and experience with NetSuite and system implementations highly desirable.
• Advanced Excel skills with the ability to build clean, well-formatted, complex analyses that tell the full story.
• Exceptional attention to detail, ownership over the numbers, and clear, concise communication skills.
• Passion for pets, consumer brands, and building and scaling a fast-growing company.
• This is a remote position open to candidates based in the U.S. only.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the month-end close process and deliver financial statements for each reporting entity within 10 days of month-end.
• Review journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations; ensure timely reviews.
• Review monthly P&L for correct coding across vendors, departments, brands.
• Prepare monthly financial commentary for MD&A.
• Build and maintain a scalable close process and accounting infrastructure.
• Train and supervise AP team to close by business day 2 after month-end.
• Oversee weekly vendor bill pay; optimize liquidity with DPO 30+ days.
• Ensure strong internal controls over cash management and new vendor setup.
• Manage employee expense reimbursements and card reporting.
• Prepare annual 1099 reporting.
• Approve daily positive pay; code unreconciled bank transactions; monitor cash activity.
• Lead monthly inventory close; review freight and 3PL accruals.
• Prepare inventory journal entries for My Perfect Pet; manage ending balances.
• Maintain standard costs for labor, overhead, materials.
• Reconcile NetSuite inventory to reports quarterly.
• Complete quarterly inventory reserve and E&O review.
• Partner with Ops and 3PLs to resolve accounting issues.
