Job summary

Thrive Physical Therapy Partners in the Midwest seeks a Senior Manager, Accounting to join our fast-growing finance team, overseeing monthly close, reporting, audits, and cross-functional initiatives within a private equity-backed organization.

Reporting to the Assistant Controller, you will lead accounting processes, develop scalable controls, mentor staff, and collaborate with operations to deliver timely insights and improvements.

Qualifications

• Active CPA preferred.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting.
• Experience with month-end close and audits.
• Public accounting background is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly/year-end close processes and reporting.
• Prepare journal entries and reconciliations with analyses.
• Assist with GAAP-compliant financial statements.
• Support M&A integration and cross-functional finance initiatives.
• Drive process improvements and system optimization.
