Job summary

Thayer Infrastructure Services, a PE-backed provider of power, fiber, wireless, and engineering infrastructure, seeks an Accounting Manager to own the monthly close, GL integrity, and technical areas including fixed assets, leases, and intercompany consolidations.

This hands-on role partners with tax, FP&A, and the broader accounting organization, supports audits, and leads process improvements to scale with the business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required (CPA preferred).
• 10+ years of progressive accounting/controllership experience; PE background a plus.
• Deep knowledge of US GAAP including consolidations, intercompany, fixed assets, and ASC 842.
• Experience managing month-end close and external audits; NetSuite expertise a must.
• Ramp or similar spend-management experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process in NetSuite.
• Manage consolidations across entities and intercompany transactions.
• Oversee fixed assets, leases, and project-based accounting considerations.
• Support year-end audit, tax provisions, and internal controls.
• Partner with FP&A and cross-functional teams to align actuals with budget.
