Job summary

Vintners Distributors is seeking a Senior Accounting Manager to lead multi-entity accounting operations, financial reporting, and month-end close at our Union City, CA location. You will partner with the CFO to ensure accurate reporting, regulatory compliance, and continuous process improvements across the organization.

The ideal candidate has extensive GAAP knowledge, strong leadership, and experience managing complex accounting in a multi-location setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or related field.
• Minimum 10 years progressive accounting experience with 5+ years in leadership.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multi-entity accounting operations and financial reporting.
• Manage month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations.
• Lead audits, regulatory filings, and internal controls development.
• Partner with CFO on budgets, forecasts, and strategic initiatives.
• Develop staff through mentorship and training.
• Drive process improvements and ERP enhancements.
