Job summary

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of progressive accounting experience with at least 2 years in supervision, plus experience in hospitality or similar multi-unit industries, ERP systems, and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience with 2+ years in supervisory or accounting management
• Strong general ledger, month-end close, account reconciliations, and financial reporting experience
• Experience in multi-location or multi-entity environments
• Restaurant/hospitality/food & beverage or similar multi-unit industry experience
• Experience with ERP or accounting systems and strong Excel skills

Responsibilities

• Will be responsible for daily accounting activities and support the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process
• Prepare and review financial statements for multiple entities and locations
• Oversee general ledger activity, journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules
• Prepare accruals, prepaids, fixed assets, depreciation, and payroll-related entries
• Manage bank and credit card reconciliations and monitor cash activity
• Analyze financial results and research variances
• Support sales tax and other state and local compliance requirements
• Coordinate with operations on sales, labor, inventory, COGS, and operating expense reporting
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and management reporting
• Support new locations and growth-related accounting activities
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax professionals
• Maintain internal controls and identify process improvements
