Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. is seeking an Accounting Manager in Framingham, MA to lead the financial close process and oversee a team of junior accountants. You will review journal entries, reconciliations and complex transactions to ensure the accuracy of TJX Financial Statements, with strong focus on GAAP and SOX controls.

You will mentor 2–3 accountants, drive process improvements, and partner with business teams on accounting matters. CPA/MBA is a plus; public accounting background preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Accounting, Audit or Finance experience.
• Ability to lead and develop a team of 2–3 accountants.
• CPA or MBA is a plus; public accounting experience is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Manage the financial close process and related activities.
• Review journal entries, reconciliations and complex transactions.
• Analyze Financial Statements and disclosures for US GAAP compliance.
• Maintain SOX controls and control environment.
• Lead meetings with internal and external auditors; oversee ad hoc projects.
