Job summary

LifeStance Health Inc. is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead a team of accountants overseeing month-end close, reconciliations, and financial analysis. The role requires strong U.S. GAAP judgment, SOX discipline, and experience in a public company setting.

You will collaborate with FP&A, Operations, Payroll, and IT to improve reporting processes, drive automation, and ensure audit readiness. A CPA or progress toward CPA is preferred.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP, close processes, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Experience with SOX controls, documentation, and remediation.
• Strong communication for cross-functional collaboration and audit support.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-, quarter-, and year-end close with journal entries and reconciliations.
• Coach Staff and Senior Accountants; set goals and develop the team.
• Prepare schedules and analysis for public company reporting and audits.
