Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience in construction, telecommunications, or project-based industries preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP.
• Advanced proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks or similar ERP).
• Proven ability to manage accounting operations independently.
• Experience overseeing payroll and payroll tax compliance.
• Strong reconciliation and fixed asset management experience.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the full month-end and year-end close process.
• Prepare accurate financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
• Maintain general ledger integrity.
• Perform and review bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Oversee job costing and project-based accounting.
• Manage fixed asset tracking and depreciation schedules.
• Monitor and report on cash flow.
• Oversee payroll processing and payroll tax filings.
• Ensure compliance with payroll regulations.
• Coordinate with external CPA as needed.
• Implement and maintain strong internal financial controls.
• Oversee expense management and reimbursement compliance.
• Ensure proper documentation for all financial transactions.
