Job summary

Magris Resources Inc. is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager in Three Forks, MT to oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including A/P, A/R, and general ledger, with responsibility for month-end close and financial reporting.

You will partner with cross-functional teams to improve processes while maintaining strong internal controls and compliance. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, 7+ years of accounting experience, and 3+ years in a supervisory capacity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field required.
• CPA, CMA, or equivalent professional designation preferred.
• Master’s degree in accounting, finance, or business administration preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• 3+ years of accounting leadership or supervisory experience.
• Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise all accounting activities including A/P, A/R, GL, and fixed assets.
• Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes; ensure accuracy of financial statements.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and variance analyses with cross-functional teams.
• Maintain strong internal controls and ensure IFRS compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Direct staff development, performance reviews, and process improvements.
• Support external audits and system implementations or upgrades.
