Job summary

Consertus is seeking a Senior Accounting Manager to join our growing organization, shaping processes and workflows while ensuring accuracy and timely financial results. You will lead a distributed accounting team, develop FAR-compliant overhead Rates, and optimize month-end close and reporting.

Responsibilities include managing accounts payable, vendor master data, corporate card/T&E, and ERP automation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or equivalent preferred.
• 8+ years progressive accounting experience with leadership, preferably in AEC or professional services.
• Demonstrated FAR overhead / indirect cost rate experience, including FAR Part 31 analysis and audit support.
• Proven ownership of full-cycle accounts payable, vendor management, and corporate card / T&E functions.
• Strong ERP proficiency and advanced Excel; multi-entity and multi-currency exposure.
• Familiarity with AP automation tooling; Deltek Vantagepoint strongly preferred.
• Bilingual — English and Spanish, preferred.
• Experience with Primavera P6 or Schedule Analyzer Pro is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Close, reporting & leadership for month-end closes and reconciliations.
• Support external audit and lender reporting requirements.
• Lead and develop a distributed accounting team with mentorship.
• Develop FAR-compliant overhead rate schedules for government contracts.
• Manage end-to-end accounts payable across all entities.
• Vendor master data governance and onboarding controls.
• Oversee corporate card and T&E policy and platform.
• Drive process improvements and automation within ERP systems.
• M&A integration support for new entities’ payables and opening balances.
