About the Opportunity: A growing software company is seeking a Senior Accounting Manager Consultant to oversee the company’s financial operations and manage the GL function and team. This is a great opportunity for a hands-on Manager seeking a strong, dynamic environment and future growth potential.

Duration: 4 months minimum. Potential for conversion to direct hire for the right fit

Compensation: $75-85/HR W2

Please note this range is an estimate and actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience.

Scope:

• Hands-on leadership of the month-end close process, reviews JEs and reconciliations
• Applies applicable accounting standards and ensures compliance with US GAAP
• Manages and leads the GL accounting team
• Maintains compliance with regulations, budgeting, and provides key financial insights to leadership
• Work with cross-functional divisions to support reporting and close processes
• Learn quickly and work successfully in a fast-paced environment owning multiple deliverables

Qualifications & Expertise:

• Hands-on experience in a publicly traded company, required
• Hands-on experience as an Accounting Manager or Controller with a small company, required
• 5-10+ years’ experience with full-function GL and month-end close management
• Prior public accounting experience, strongly preferred
• CPA, strongly preferred
• Software industry experience, strongly preferred
• Strong with Excel and ERP systems (NetSuite preferred)
