Job summary

Conventus Holdings Corporation in San Francisco seeks an AVP, Accounting Manager to lead the monthly close, manage payroll, oversee audit preparation, and supervise a two-person staff. This is a hands-on leadership role—journal entries, reconciliations, and ledger work are central while driving process improvements in a lean, fast-paced environment.

The role directs the end-to-end close cycle, coordinates with external auditors, supports tax filings, and mentors the team.

Qualifications

• Hands-on accounting experience with monthly close ownership.
• Proven ability to manage payroll processes end-to-end.
• Experience coordinating external audits and tax support.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end monthly close, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Direct payroll processing and related GL postings.
• Coordinate with external auditors and prepare audit schedules.
