Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Comfortable working across multiple accounting and business systems.
• Can think strategically while remaining willing to roll up their sleeves and handle the details.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including AP, AR, billing, and general ledger activities.
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
• Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Lead and streamline the monthly close process.
• Prepare financial schedules, variance analyses, and management reporting.
• Oversee billing, accounts receivable, cash application, aging, and collections.
• Monitor working capital and AR metrics and identify opportunities to improve cash flow.
• Support annual audits, bank reviews, lender requests, and covenant reporting.
• Provide financial analysis related to revenue, gross margin, operating expenses, and working capital.
• Identify opportunities to automate and improve accounting processes.
• Participate in system implementations and reporting enhancements.
• Serve as a trusted accounting resource and business partner to operational leadership.
