• Active CPA required.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• 6+ years of accounting experience with a strong foundation in technical accounting and financial reporting.
• Big 4 public accounting experience strongly preferred, but not required.
• Deep understanding of US GAAP and technical accounting concepts.
• Experience supporting publicly traded companies and SEC reporting environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical accounting research and prepare accounting position memos related to complex transactions under US GAAP.
• Provide guidance on revenue recognition, stock compensation, leases, debt arrangements, acquisitions, and other technical accounting matters.
• Support the preparation and review of SEC filings, including 10-Ks, 10-Qs, and related disclosures.
• Partner closely with FP&A, legal, operations, and executive leadership to evaluate accounting implications of strategic initiatives.
• Oversee aspects of the monthly and quarterly close process related to technical accounting and financial reporting.
• Drive implementation of new accounting standards and ensure compliance with evolving regulatory requirements.
• Assist with strengthening internal controls, accounting policies, and scalable financial reporting processes.
• Serve as a key point of contact for external auditors and support audit coordination.
• Mentor and develop junior accounting team members as the organization continues to grow.
