Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Accounting Manager to be responsible for financial transactions, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations. This role involves performing reconciliations, assisting with audits, and supporting financial decision-making through accurate reporting and analysis. Ideal candidates are located in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
• Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
• Assist in month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and accruals.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentation and financial reports.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and company policies.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and support business decisions.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial operations and reporting needs.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior accounting staff.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
• 3-5 years of accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

• The salary range for this position is $120,000 - $160,000 per year depending on qualifications, experience, and business needs. This range reflects the employer's reasonable expectation at the time of posting but may be subject to change.
