Job description

Growing and adding to the corporate accounting staff! Senior accounting manager will report to the controller and CFO. Located in Northwest Houston we are looking for a person that wants the opportunity to be challenged by engaging with the business; senior leaders and being accountable regarding the entities that make up the business. We are seeking someone with a polished and professional demeanor that can also present information to senior staff. We are looking for someone that is not done growing yet--someone that arrives and thinks "what can we tackle next?"

Only qualified applicants will be contacted and the client is only interested in strong tenure.

Position Description:

The Senior Accounting Manager will own the accounting function's day-to-day execution and drive its development as the company grows. The ideal candidate will possess a deep background in corporate accounting, multi-entity financial management, and regulatory reporting, with a demonstrated track record of building processes and developing people — not just running an existing playbook. • Prepare, analyze, and present financial statements and insights to senior leaders and owners of the Company.
  • Own external audit coordination, tax preparation coordination, and regulatory and compliance reporting.
  • Maintain professional and timely communication with vendors, customers, and internal team members.
  • Collaborate and build effective relationships across departments and business units.
  • Perform other responsibilities and projects as needed.
Qualifications:
