Job summary

PNC is seeking an Accounting Lead in Pittsburgh to guide centralized accounting and reporting processes. You will serve as the senior expert on complex transactions, evaluate guidance, and present implications to executives and the Board.

You will mentor staff, ensure month-end and year-end close accuracy, and support Sarbanes-Oxley compliance across finance functions and business units.

Qualifications

• University degree required with relevant accounting background.
• Experience in GAAP, financial reporting and internal controls.
• Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and board-level reporting.

Responsibilities

• Leads specialized accounting, analytical, and regulatory reporting for centralized function.
• Reviews complex transactions, researches guidance, and communicates implications to senior management.
• Prepares accounting memoranda and presentations on new pronouncements and impact.
• Provides accounting expertise for month-/quarter-/year-end close and journal entries.
• Supports training related to GAAP compliance and internal controls.
