Creative Financial Staffing, LLC in Hauppauge, NY is seeking a Senior Accounting & Finance Analyst to own the full accounting cycle and provide strategic FP&A support. You will work closely with senior leadership, lead month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis while ensuring GAAP compliance.

This role offers exposure to audits, tax reporting, fixed assets, inventory, and process improvements, with onsite start and hybrid flexibility as you establish yourself.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5-7 years of general ledger and financial reporting experience.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, SOX, and IFRS.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAGE.
• Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency, particularly Excel.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Prepare annual budgets, monthly forecasts, and variance analysis.
• Analyze financial results and provide recommendations to improve business performance.
• Oversee invoicing, cash receipts, accounts payable, and banking activities.
• Coordinate audits, tax reporting, fixed assets, and inventory-related accounting functions.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and company policies.
