Job summary

CFS is seeking a Senior Accounting & Finance Analyst in Hauppauge, NY. Onsite initially with hybrid flexibility as the organization establishes itself. You will own the full accounting cycle and contribute to financial planning and analysis with exposure to senior leadership.

• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.

• Oversee invoicing, cash receipts, AP and banking activities.
• Coordinate audits, tax reporting, fixed assets, and inventory accounting.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and internal control adherence.

Key Responsibilities For The Senior Accounting & Finance Analyst

• Lead month-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Prepare annual budgets, monthly forecasts, and variance analysis.
• Analyze financial results and provide recommendations to improve business performance.
• Oversee invoicing, cash receipts, accounts payable, and banking activities.
• Coordinate audits, tax reporting, fixed assets, and inventory-related accounting functions.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and company policies.

Qualifications For The Senior Accounting & Finance Analyst

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related experience.
• 5-7 years of general ledger and financial reporting experience.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, SOX, and IFRS.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAGE.
• Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency, particularly Excel.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
