Job summary

Oath is building AI that transforms the audit industry. We are seeking a senior accounting engineer to own engagements end to end, deciding how AI should perform an audit and proving it with evidence a reviewer, regulator or peer reviewer would accept.

This is an early startup hire with wide scope, real ambiguity and direct influence over how the firm and the platform work. You will help turn hard, unstructured problems into reliable, auditable systems.

Qualifications

• Experience leading complex engagements across funds, SPVs, private companies, and nonprofits.
• Ability to define audit methodology for AI-enabled workflows with stakeholders.
• Proven track record mentoring engineers and shaping quality processes.

Responsibilities

• Own a portfolio of client engagements from onboarding through completion and renewal.
• Act as reviewer on AI-generated audit procedures and workpapers, ensuring defensible results.
• Define and document judgment on sufficiency and appropriateness of evidence.
• Mentor Accounting Engineers and help hire and onboard team members.
