Job summary

Atlantic Group in Washington DC is seeking accounting and finance professionals to join a consulting practice serving Fortune 1000 companies on strategic, high-impact projects.

You will gain exposure to IPO readiness, SEC reporting, M&A, and diverse operations across accounting, finance, and controls, with strong mentorship and career development.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
  • 2+ years of public accounting experience.
  • CPA or progress toward CPA strongly preferred.
  • Strong U.S. GAAP knowledge and technical accounting foundation.
  • Advanced Excel skills preferred.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support SEC reporting and financial reporting (10-Ks, 10-Qs, IPO readiness).
  • Assist corporate accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and close processes.
  • Participate in mergers & acquisitions, due diligence, and post-merger integration.
  • Engage in fund accounting, private equity, and real estate operations.
  • Contribute to bankruptcy and restructuring advisory.
