You will analyze complex financial data, prepare ledger entries, and support inter-company billings and tax filings in a collaborative environment. The position requires a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance, 4+ years of experience, and strong MS Office skills; CPA/CMA is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related field.
• CPA or CMA certification is preferred for some positions.
• Minimum four years of general financial accounting and reporting experience.
• Intermediate to advanced skills with Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of GAAP and ability to apply it to complex issues; SAP or PowerPlan experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Participate in and support accurate month-end, quarter-end and year-end close cycles and related regulatory/tax filings.
• Analyze financial data, reconcile accounts, prepare ledger entries, and perform inter-company activity and property valuations.
• Lead or participate in special projects such as system upgrades, rate case support, and ad hoc reporting.
• Provide timely guidance to clients on account codes, financial reports, and project status; prepare presentations and schedules for management.
