Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related field required or equivalent experience.
• CPA or CMA certification preferred for some positions.
• Minimum four years of general financial accounting and reporting experience.
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills.
• Knowledge of GAAP and strong analytical/communication skills.
• Experience with SAP or PowerPlan highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Participate in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes and prepare internal/external financial statements and tax filings.
• Analyze complex financial data, reconcile accounts, prepare ledger entries, and develop ad hoc reports.
• Lead or participate in special projects such as system upgrades, rate case support, or process improvement initiatives.
• Provide timely accounting consultation to clients and prepare presentations and schedules for management and external parties.
• Stay current with new accounting rules and GAAP practices; resolve complex issues creatively.
• May provide work direction and training to other analysts.
