Diligente Technologies in San Francisco, CA is seeking an Accounting Consultant or Sr Accounting Analyst/Sr Accountant for a 6-month engagement. You will support hedge accounting processes, perform reconciliations, and prepare journal entries across loans, MBS, and investments.

• Must have strong experience with account reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Experience with hedge accounting and loan accounting is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Perform accounting support activities for hedge accounting processes, including reconciliations, journal entries, and documentation.
• Validate loan commitments, funding activity, and related accounting transactions by reconciling source systems to records.
• Prepare and post journal entries for income, expenses, amortization, fair value adjustments, hedge accounting, and loan accounting.
• Execute monthly FAS 91/FAS 149 processing and support accounting for loans, MBS, and investments.
• Perform period-over-period reconciliations and investigate discrepancies, documenting explanations for material fluctuations.
• Reconcile and certify general ledger accounts in Workday Financials and ensure accuracy of records.
• Follow internal controls and maintain supporting documentation for audits.
• Conduct hedge inception testing and weekly hedge effectiveness testing per policy.
