Job summary

Steadily is seeking a Senior Accounting Analyst in Austin to report to the CFO and help scale accounting for new markets and products. You will provide insights that inform leadership decisions and have a meaningful impact with an elite team.

You’ll own the close, prepare journal entries, perform reconciliations, and support audits, while partnering across finance to enhance operations and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field, CPA preferred or in progress.
• Advanced Excel and data manipulation skills are required.
• GAAP knowledge and strong financial statement understanding.
• Public accounting or late-stage startup experience is ideal.

Responsibilities

• Support growth and expansion into new markets with scalable accounting processes.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to guide business decisions.
• Own the close process with journal entries, reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Assist with premium accounting, accounts receivable and AP functions.
• Support annual audits and respond to auditor requests confidently.
