Career Movement in Miami-Dade County is seeking a Senior Accounting Analyst to join a growing finance team. This on-site role supports a hands-on function as the company expands into direct-to-consumer sales, moves to a new ERP, and prepares for its first full audit.

You'll own parts of the monthly close, reconcile inventory, support the audit, and collaborate with warehouse and operations teams. Reports to the Controller; this is a role for someone who wants to help build the function, not just

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with month-end close.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment and cost/inventory accounting.
• Knowledge of US GAAP and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Support the monthly close: journal entries, accruals, prepaids, and balance sheet reconciliations
• Prepare financial statements and budget-to-actual variance analysis
• Own parts of AP, AR, payroll, cash application, and bank reconciliations
• Reconcile inventory records to physical counts and the warehouse system; investigate variances
• Maintain standard costs and analyze purchase price and production variances
• Participate in an ERP implementation, from process mapping through testing and go-live
• Support external audit and ad-hoc analysis requests

A well established, investor backed consumer products manufacturer and distributor in Miami-Dade County is adding a Senior Accounting Analyst to a newly created role on its growing finance team. The company is expanding into direct to consumer sales, preparing for its first full audit, and moving to a new ERP, so this is a hands-on seat for an accountant who wants to help build the function, not just run it. Reports to the Controller. Fully on-site.

Required Qualifications

• Background in a manufacturing environment
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including month-end close
• Solid knowledge of US GAAP, account reconciliations, and internal controls
• Cost or inventory accounting exposure
• Exposure to external audit or audited financials
• Advanced Excel (pivot tables, lookups, large data sets)
• Comfortable working directly with warehouse and operations teams
• Able to work on-site five days a week

Key Responsibilities

• Support the monthly close: journal entries, accruals, prepaids, and balance sheet reconciliations
• Prepare financial statements and budget-to-actual variance analysis
• Own parts of AP, AR, payroll, cash application, and bank reconciliations
• Reconcile inventory records to physical counts and the warehouse system; investigate variances
