Job summary

Fairview Search Group, LLC is conducting an exclusive search for a Senior Accounting Analyst for a multi-billion dollar company in South Charlotte. The role focuses on monthly close, journal entries, and financial analyses with emphasis on GAAP compliance.

The ideal candidate has a 4-year degree in Accounting, 2–4 years of public accounting experience, CPA or CPA candidate, and proven US GAAP experience. Hybrid work schedule with strong growth potential.

• 2–4 years National Public Accounting experience.
• CPA or CPA candidate status.
• US GAAP and Financial Statement review experience.

Responsibilities

Fairview Search Group, LLC is conducting an EXCLUSIVE SEARCH for a Senior Accounting Analyst for a Multi-Billion company located in South Charlotte.

The role of Senior Accounting Analyst includes but is not limited to:

• Preparing journal entries and financial analyses needed for monthly financial close and consolidation, recording transactions associated with equity method joint ventures and other subsidiaries.
• Researching GAAP and SEC guidance in support of accounting treatments and disclosures.
• Participating on project teams with initiatives to streamline the close process and automate the submission of data from the field.
• Involved in the transition of and accounting for acquired companies and other unique transactions.
