Job summary

Fairview Search Group, LLC is conducting an exclusive search for a Senior Internal Auditor for a Multi-Billion Fortune 1000 company located in Charlotte, NC. This in-office role requires travel of less than 5% and offers total compensation around $120K plus bonus potential.

Responsibilities include planning and performing Operational and SOX audits, preparing audit reports, and presenting findings to stakeholders. You will mentor staff and coordinate multi-entity audits to improve processes.

Qualifications

• 3-7 years of auditing experience in public accounting and/or industry.
• Demonstrated knowledge of GAAP and auditing methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Plan and perform Operational and SOX audits and prepare audit reports following standards and SOPs.
• Identify and recommend improvements to SOX/audit efficiency, including documentation, automation, and standardization.
• Prepare and present audit reports to stakeholders.
• Assist other Auditors to execute assigned projects as needed.
• Lead complex audits across entities and coordinate multiple auditors.
• Participate in staff development and performance evaluation processes.
• Provide feedback to staff auditors and the director for project evaluation.

Fairview Search Group, LLC is conducting an EXCLUSIVE SEARCH for a new Senior Internal Auditor opportunity for a Multi-Billion Fortune 1000 company located in Charlotte.

Total Compensation $120K plus! ... In-office role, Travel less than 5%!!!

Responsibilities:

• Plan and perform Operational and SOX audits and prepare audit reports in accordance with the Global Internal Audit Standards and Internal Audit department policies and SOPs.
• Identify and recommend strategies to improve SOX and audit efficiency through best practices, improving documentation, automation, standardization, and streamlining of activities.
• Prepare and present audit reports to stakeholders.
• Assist other Auditors as appropriate and necessary to execute assigned projects.
• May be responsible for more complex audits (act as lead on a multi-entity audit requiring coordination of several other auditors, implement a new audit with no available history or background, responsible for high visibility/high priority audits, etc.).
• Participate in personnel development training and performance evaluation programs.
• Provide feedback to staff auditors or to the director for inclusion in staff performance or project evaluation.

Experience:

• 3-7 years of experience in the profession of auditing obtained through a mix of public accounting and/or industry experience
• Demonstrated knowledge of GAAP, financial accounting and auditing methodologies and techniques
