Job summary

CRG Search is seeking a Senior Corporate Accountant for a leading global equipment services company near Charlotte, with US GAAP and SOX exposure, to manage monthly close, journal entries, and reconciliations in a hybrid Fort Mill office.

The role requires 3–5 years in accounting, a Bachelor's in Accounting, CPA or candidate, and Oracle/Advanced Excel skills; you will collaborate across functions to ensure accurate financial reporting and support SOX compliance, with a 95k-105k base plus 5%

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Public accounting experience with publicly traded clients (regional or Big 4).
• CPA or CPA candidate.
• US GAAP and SOX compliance experience.
• Advanced Excel; Oracle experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly general ledger account reconciliations.
• Prepare and post monthly journal entries.
• Maintain accurate records and reporting to support SOX compliance.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure completeness and accuracy of financial reporting.
• Assist with additional accounting responsibilities and projects as assigned.

Our client, a leading $11B+ global equipment services company headquartered near Charlotte that recently transitioned its primary public listing to the NYSE, is seeking a Senior Corporate Accountant to join their team! The Senior Corporate Accountant will play a key role in the monthly close and financial reporting processes, including preparing journal entries and account reconciliations, supporting SOX compliance, and assisting with special projects to ensure accurate and reliable financial reporting. Compensation

$95,000-105,000 + 5% Bonus

Position Responsibilities

This position plays a key role in the monthly close process, ensuring journal entries are accurately recorded, account reconciliations are completed, and all required monthly documentation is maintained.

• Prepare monthly general ledger account reconciliations.
• Prepare and post monthly journal entries.
• Maintain accurate records and reporting to support SOX compliance.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure the completeness and accuracy of financial reporting.
• Assist with additional accounting responsibilities and projects as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• Targeting 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience
• Regional or Big 4 public accounting experience with publicly traded clients
• CPA or CPA candidate
• US GAAP and SOX Compliance experience required
• Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills required; exposure or experience with Oracle is a plus
• Soft Skills desired: Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively, communicate effectively, handle confidential information with discretion, and a strong motivation to learn and grow professionally.
