Job summary

KSM (Katz, Sapper & Miller) is seeking a Senior Associate for the Accounting Advisory group within TAS. You’ll work with private equity and corporate clients on post-closing engagements with emphasis on purchase accounting and price adjustments.

You will own workstreams, prepare high-quality deliverables, and collaborate with client teams while supporting CFO/controller services and close processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is required.
• CPA designation is preferred or actively pursued.
• Experience in accounting advisory, TAS, or related areas beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver key workstreams in accounting advisory engagements.
• Prepare high-quality deliverables and interact with client teams.
• Contribute to post-close accounting, CFO/controller support, and close processes.
• Support purchase accounting, price adjustments, and ASC 805/810 work.
• Develop checklists, templates, and management reporting packages.
• Assist with interim CFO/controller services and journal entries.
• Communicate status, risks, and solutions to project leads promptly.
