Job summary

Ledgent-Finance- is seeking a Senior Accountant to lead financial reporting, month-end close, compliance, and business performance analysis. This role partners with leadership to influence strategic financial decisions and support a growing organization.

Key duties include journal entries, reconciliations, budgeting support, and KPI analysis, with a focus on process improvements and internal controls. Growth opportunities are available in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in accounting required.
5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
Advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUPs, formulas, modeling).
Experience with financial reporting and month-end close.
Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting controls.

Responsibilities

Lead month-end and year-end close activities.
Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements.
Maintain general ledger accuracy and integrity.
Analyze financial results and provide variance explanations.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis initiatives.
Monitor operational KPIs and profitability metrics.
Manage fixed asset accounting throughout the asset lifecycle.
Assist with audits, tax filings, and regulatory compliance.
Improve accounting processes, reporting automation, and internal controls.
