Addison Group is seeking a Senior Accountant for a Phoenix, AZ-based role. You will prepare journal entries, reconcile ledgers, and support the monthly close in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with a supportive leadership team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• Advanced Excel experience with Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries, maintain financial records, and support the monthly and quarterly close process.
• Reconcile general ledger and balance sheet accounts, investigate variances, and ensure financial information is accurate and complete.
• Assist with financial reporting and analysis, providing insight into operational results and identifying items that require follow-up.
• Support the Controller with internal controls, accounting policies, compliance requirements, and process improvements.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and the financial tracking of capital expenditures.
• Provide accounting support across various functional areas and collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues and answer financial questions.
• Assist with internal and external audits by preparing documentation and responding to information requests.
