Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, a leading pediatric hospital in Georgia, is seeking an experienced accounting professional to maintain and analyze financial records, perform multi-entity close processes, and prepare reports for executives and the board.

Requirements include a bachelor's in accounting and 5 years of corporate accounting (or 2.5 years in public accounting). CPA or MBA options are welcome; strong communication and software skills are essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
  • 5 years of corporate accounting or 2.5 years in public accounting required; CPA or MFA can substitute.
  • Knowledge of GAAP and ability to handle significant entity accounting.

Responsibilities

  • Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes for significant entities.
  • Record period-end and corrective journal entries.
  • Reconcile interfaces into general ledger (AP, payroll, revenue, allocations).
  • Prepare financial reports using multiple data sources for internal/external audiences.
  • Assist in preparing audit work papers for year-end audits.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes.
